Journalistic Standards

Much of my career and many of my personal experiences with posture and alignment have been down “the road less traveled”, to borrow a phrase from M. Scott Peck. I have some strong opinions about this topic. But I have also seen how a lack of grounding in science and medical education can result in potential injury, or at least an unnecessary expenditure of one’s resources. In other words, I have strong opinions about science and evidence base for treatments, as well. Where ever possible, each recommendation I make will be accompanied by a summary of the medical research on that topic, statements from credible medical associations and/or expert comments by licensed medical and allied health professionals. A bibliography will be provided for each post, where appropriate. And when something I say is strictly my opinion, with no scientific backing, I will be sure to let you know by making a statement to that effect.
